Many women now have breast implants, either for cosmetic or reconstructive reasons. Some of these women will eventually need a maintenance procedure, such as implant replacement as old implants wear out. If you are having problems with breast implants, it is important to discuss the range of options available to you.

The first thing to do, is to simply have the implants checked, to assess if anything does need to be done or not. If you do need something done, your options may range from a simple adjustment procedure, to removal of the prostheses or replacement with a newer technology implant. In many cases you may have several options, so it important to discuss the merits of each available choice.
